Kurt är tillbaka på polisstationen efter avstängningen. Han involveras direkt i ett fall med en 8-årig flicka som är försvunnen. Allt man hittar är en godisbit och hennes cykel. Han blir besatt av att hitta flicka levande och minuterna tickar. De har tiden mot sig och det första dygnet är avgörande.
