Tina och Cilla ska snart fylla 15 år och är mitt i tonårens sökande efter en vuxenidentitet. De är enäggstvillingar men helt olika. Tina bryr sig mest om smink och blir kär i en ny kille varje vecka. Cilla upplevs som udda för hon bryr sig inte alls om ytligheter. Hon är regissör i sin egen teatergrupp som ska spela in pengar till svältande barn i tredje världen. En ung lokal rockmusiker, Ailu, gör musik till hennes föreställning. På mammans födelsedag dör Cilla i en olycka. Nu är det som om Tinas halva jag försvinner.
