En ung mor räddar sin 10 åriga dotter från barnprostitution i Vitryssland och flyr till en flyktingförläggning i norra Sverige. I sin utsatthet blir hon ett lätt byte för sin omgivning. De två möter en algerisk man på förläggningen och trots tvekan till en början växer attraktionen dem emellan.
